Railway Site

This is some stuff I am building for The Hayling Billy Line that I have just started.  I am very pleased with the windows on the gate hut; I take a window texture and create an alpha channel for it in Photoshop, when I paste the blue, white and black texture (see above) into the alpha channel it turns just the right shade of grey, so that the window is see through; but the reflections can still be seen. The shed door is just a box, there are no spars or lock, it’s all texture. I took a picture of my shed door and altered it to green using a hue and saturation layer in Photoshop.

   The platform is not the right one for Langstone; it’s the one that I have built for Hayling Island Station and it has a gravel top as the real one did. This is not a large route it’s just 4.5 miles and has four stations. The main problem is that it closed in 1963 and is now a nature rambling path thingy and few signs are left of the original line.
